The Netherworld Power Of Pneuma Part III

n Part I of the present series, we addressed the excitement triggered by the beast power, as all the world follows in amazement:

“And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea….and all the world wondered after the beast” (Revelation 13:1,3).

The sensation of “wonder” is derived from the word existemi, and we showed this “existemi” (where we get our word ecstasy) can be generated in the redeemed as well as the apostate. This was demonstrated when John the Revelator “wondered” (existemi) when he beheld Mystery Babylon -- just as Simon the Sorcercer “wondered” when he saw the Apostle’s signs and wonders.

It’s also interesting to note that, in the tale of Simon the Sorcerer, the text also uses the word existemi when it tells us the magician bewitched the people of Samaria:

“But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that he himself was some great one” (Acts 8:9).

The common denominator is not the event which ignited the wonder (as one was supernaturally evil, and the other was of the LORD), but it is related to how the heart and mind – as opposed to the Holy Spirit within a believer – is ignited into an enthusiastic participation based on external stimuli. To phrase that same thought another way, the existemi was released within the flesh and blood person, as a result of the interaction with the Spirit emanating out of the False Prophet.

The fact that John experienced the existemi, while beholding the Harlot of Babylon, indicates her influence over him was tied to his flesh and blood, as opposed to the Spiritual son of God that John had become.

“For as many as received him, to them gave he the power to become the sons of God” (John 1:12).

The power to become the sons of God comes directly from God, and it occurs exclusively in the realm of the Spirit. For instance, when Simon the Fisherman proclaimed His realization that Jesus is the Son of God, Christ specified that wondrous statement did not come from the Fisherman’s heart or mind, but was of a divine nature given directly by the Father in heaven:

“And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 16:17).

Back on the physical front, we’ve learned the human heart and mind are extraordinarily and intricately designed, as our nervous system features neurons, neural transmitters and receptors, and complex processes which govern behavior, reasoning, and a host of other functions. Like tree with a billion branches, we have a trillion neurons in our brains, and some of these have 10,000 branches (called dendrites), as well.

This construct features synaptic gaps – and the body produces chemicals which periodically bridge the gap, and deliver a charge to the receptor on the other end of the gap, through a connection made with the chemical dopamine. Like touching two wires to the terminals on a battery to complete a circuit, this connection then sends the information on to the brain, and it is the basis of the pain/pleasure response. It is our physical nature to approach pleasure, and avoid pain.

What could be called a “dopamine moment” is always tied to the environment, i.e. the physical world which impacts your flesh and blood. You hear a song on the radio, and it brings back memories of a cherished experience. Smelling a rose, contemplating the photograph of a loved one, or a thousand other things can all release dopamine, triggering a pleasant emotional/intellectual (read heart and mind) response.

Anyone versed in biology knows that all habitual drug use is tied to dopamine, as it becomes progressively more difficult to get the same jolt over a period of time. Indeed, in an intriguing Spiritual signature, we note the effort to repeat the rush which addicts seek is popularly called Chasing the Dragon.

“Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied” (Proverbs 27:20).

The Bible plainly teaches us that every person in this world is just as guilty before God; for regardless of your standing, He sees you just as He sees the drug addict, alcoholic, murderer, or other social misfit. Indeed, since all human beings consistently seek the infusion of dopamine, in everyman’s ongoing quest to approach pleasure and avoid pain, it can accurately be stated that we are all drug addicts. This is all the world has to offer.

A child plays with a toy until he (or she) becomes bored, and then they move to another gratifying object. It’s not the toy the child desires, it’s the pleasure response it generates, which the youth is unconsciously seeking. Fast forward a few decades to the flashy red convertible transporting the trophy wife, which carries a bumper sticker that reads “he who dies with the most toys wins,” and you gain a glimpse into a more sophisticated version of the same physiological principle. The last lap in that particular race is the expensive recreational vehicle driven across the country by a retired couple – but now the bumper sticker reads “we’re spending our children’s inheritance.”

These are simplistic versions of the Pneuma – the “life” within the hearts and minds of those who dwell on the earth. The fact is, the doctrine of this Netherworld Pneuma is irrelevant, for it universally motivates the flesh and blood of humankind to follow the lifestyle of the first beast, who is actually Spiritual Death – also known as Antichrist.

In this heavenly architecture, Jesus is Life, and Antichrist is His opposite, which is Death. The False Prophet, who wields the Netherworld Power of Pneuma, is that which is in between Life and Death, and can best be described as Hell.

“We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement…”(Isaiah 28:15).

The Spirit residing in the False Prophet promises the earth dwellers liberty, but delivers bondage:

“While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage” (II Peter 2:19).

The Hellish Spirit of the False Prophet “causes” those who dwell on the Earth to follow the Antichrist – which is actually the Spirit of Death and, just as the Apostle Peter noted how the wicked ones promise liberty but deliver bondage, it seduces the world through the promise of Life (Pneuma), when the Death of Antichrist is the actual end result. The prophet Ezekiel details this identical scenario when the LORD states how this evil Spirit functions in all False Prophets:

“They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying The Lord saith: and the LORD hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word” (Ezekiel 13:6).

This most revealing verse re-states the earlier assertion about existemi, where those who hear the False Prophet’s words are animated through the Netherworld Pneuma, which energizes the earthdwellers’s hearts and minds with the hope that, if they respond to the message of the False Prophet, their action will confirm it is indeed a word from the LORD.

The Scriptures tell us the primary form of interaction between those who “dwell on the face of the whole earth” (Luke 21:35) and the Spirit indwelling the False Prophet is found in Dialogue.

“They have seen vanity….saying, The Lord saith….” Ezekiel 13:6)

“And deceiveth them…saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image…” (Revelation 13:14).

“…and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon….” (Revelation 13:11)

“Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field…And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said….” (Genesis 3:1).

“And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God….” (Luke 4:9)

“Behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things” (Daniel 7:8).

Although we rarely consider such obvious common denominators, the fact is, the Spiritual wickedness in high places has now refined the process known as Neuro-Linguistic Programming, which is a sophisticated form of verbal communication, which is malevolently articulated to maneuver all the world into the allegorical Valley of Armageddon, through manipulation of the physical processes found in the heart and mind. Also known as the Dialogue To Consensus, this form of Dragonspeak is now the universal language of our time, and it is fluently spoken by all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth.

However, an analysis of the massive scope of this Dialectic Process will have to wait for the next installment of The Netherworld Power of Pneuma.
