Prophetic Polarities: Hot, Cold, and Lukewarm Part II

art I of the present series examined how the rejection of Christ by the ancient Jews, who continued to believe in a coming Saviour, is the identical Spirit now in the “Church” – a group which continues to claim God will yet redeem Israel –in spite of the fact that He has already done it. Obviously, it is evil to deny the LORD has performed on His promise, when He has already accomplished it, even if the person committing the infraction was deceived into perpetrating the offense.

“…he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God” (Luke 12:9).

This Spiritual double-mind – asserting faith in God’s promises, while denyingHe has already performed the promised salvation of His chosen – is the outgrowth of the Spirit identified as that which Scripture tells us emanates out of the false prophets.

“They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying The Lord Saith: and the Lord hath not sent them: andthey have made others to hope that they would confirm the word” (Ezekiel 13:6)

This profound statement, channeled through Ezekiel by the LORD, demonstrates the phrase “they have made others to hope,” can be connected to Revelation’s False Prophet, who “causeth the earth and them that dwell therein to….hope they would confirm the word,” by following his instructions (Revelation 13:12, Ezekiel 13:6).

This tells us that all false prophets, as well as the mystical identity seen in Revelation dubbed the False Prophet, have the ability to instill hope in those they deceive. Ezekiel tells us that false prophets, claiming the LORD sent them, cause people to think they are following the will of God, by promising them the life that God offers:

“Because with lies ye have….strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life” (Ezekiel 13:22).

This goes to the very heart of deception, for it illustrates the Spiritual polarities of Life and Death. The program of the False Prophet mingles the two, in that it promises Life, but delivers Death:

“But these…speak evil of the things that they understand not….while they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption” (II Peter 2:19).

To reiterate the primary point, God has repeatedly promised that He would save Israel:

“And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the Lord because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a savior, and a great one, and he shall deliver them” (Isaiah 19:20).

Jesus Christ was born to be the Saviour of Israel, and His sacrifice on the cross, followed by His resurrection, accomplished the Salvation of Israel, as those who moved into eternal life through receiving Him, were born again as “the Israel of God” (Galatians 6:16).

The physical Jews who refused to recognize Jesus as the promised Christ, continue to look for a Saviour, denying that God has already delivered on His promise to redeem Israel. The “Christian” Church also denies that God has already delivered on His promise to redeem Israel. This continues to the present day, for those who “art called a Jew” (Romans 2:17) continue to “hope that they would confirm the word” (Ezekiel 13:6) through their ongoing expectation of a savior, long after they killed the Saviour God gave them.

When Jesus Christ was born, a prophet named Simeon encountered the Christ child:

“And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said, Lord now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word: For mine eyes have seen thy salvation” (Luke 2:26, 28, 29).

Those who received the Word of the LORD, that Jesus is the prophesied Saviour, were born again as the Remnant of Israel.

The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid” (Zephaniah 3:13).

Meanwhile, a vast multitude of “believers,” which call themselves the “Church,” alternately claim that they have “replaced” Israel, or they say that God has not yet redeemed Israel – a foundational premise of the Rapture Cult. The former, saying God will not redeem Israel through the claim they replaced Israel, manifest the direct denial of God’s promise, so they embody the opposite of His promissory Life, and are indwelled by the Spirit of Death. This is the Cold in the Hot, Cold, Lukewarm analogy.

Simultaneously, those who say that God will yet redeem Israel, are worse, as they deny the LORD’s finished work of Israel’s redemption, but leaven it with the False Prophet’s “hope” that it will yet occur. These are committing the identical sin of the ancient Jews who, rejecting the salvation of Israel which occurred in their very midst, continue to say that God will yet save Israel. This is theLukewarm in Christ’s analogy.

Thus, by hoping that God will yet fulfill the word of the false prophets, the multitude has been cleverly deceived into rejecting the accomplishment which has already occurred. In this fashion, the “believers” traverse from the Life in Christ, to the Death in Antichrist – via the Spirit of Hell which is intrinsic to the power wielded by the False Prophet of Revelation 13. The ominous truth is, the so called “Church” is now denying that JESUS CHRIST has accomplished all that the Father set before Him, and that He has not yet redeemed Israel:

“Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son” (I John 2:22).
