Psalm 83 And False Prophet Bill Salus
ill Salus is another False Prophet working the circuit of Jewish Supremacy. Perhaps best known for his book Israelstine, in which he claims God’s “chosen people,” are destined to take more and more land in the near term -- Salus represents that Israeli territorial expansion is all part of God’s supposed plan to continue a racist agenda.
Soft spoken and easy going, Salus picked up on the idea of hidden prophecies in the Psalms, a concept which was popularized by the late J R Church some years ago. In recent times, he has trumpeted how Israel will be forced to conquer significant amounts of land in a forthcoming round of contemporary warfare.
Widely welcomed in the unscriptural premises known as Judaeo-Christian ministries, Salus appears at most of the major prophecy conferences, and has recently joined forces with the Rapture Cult juggernaut World Net Daily, which is now offering his books and videos to the gullible public.
Pitching the idea that Psalm 83 has very important predictions embedded within – predictions which are relative to Israel’s militant, end time’s destiny -- this pretribulationist false prophet has cleverly positioned himself to survive criticism as massive, tribulation style events erupt. In other words, even though Salus pitches pretrib, he also claims the Scriptures allow for catastrophic “tribulation” type events before the tribulation!
As is often the case with the rising stars who twist the Scriptures to their own destruction, there is an element of truth in portions of the Salus scenario. However, like every pre-tribber we’ve ever seen, he plays fast and loose with the facts in order to preserve his relationship with the Antichrist dogma of Jewish primacy on a racial basis.
On many occasions, Christian Media has shown how the Scriptures obliterate any pre-tribulational Rapturist oriented system, so we’ll examine Salus’ central thesis that Psalm 83 includes a list of the political powers which he asserts will clash with (and be defeated by) the military power that is the modern state of Israel.
In this regard, his website carries the following summation of this perspective:
“Psalm 83 is an ancient prophecy that had been vastly overlooked by many of today’s top Bible prophecy experts. It deals with an `Inner Circle’ of Arab states and terrorist populations that share common borders with Israel. This Inner Circle is described in Psalm 83:6-8 and their modern day equivalents are shown on the map” (ProphecyDepot website introduction to Psalm 83, authored by Bill Salus).
The map mentioned in the statement presents a grossly inaccurate outline of the Middle East, but since Salus reads each of the names on the list during his online video presentations, we will be citing from his statements, instead of reproducing preposterous maps. The online statement then continues with the following:
“These are the countries that voted against the existence of Israel at the United Nations in 1947, (UN Resolution 181 the Partition Plan). They are the nations that went to war against Israel in 1948, (The War of Independence). Some of them fought against Israel again in the Arab-Israeli wars of 1967 and 1973. Psalm 83 clearly declares that this confederacy conspires to wipe Israel off of the map“ (ProphecyDepot website).
As in so many other Rapture Cult multimedia presentations, where a narrator weaves his inaccurate “facts” in and around the onscreen graphics, we weren’t surprised to find this tactic used here. Indeed, the technique is not unrelated to the practice of hypnosis, for as a voice drones on (or the video narration plays on the Internet in a box surrounded by other graphics) holding the individual’s attention, they are simultaneously being hit with graphics featuring statements which are at best misleading, and at worst, outright prevarications.
Thus, since Bill Salus does precisely that, it is clear that he is just anotherRapture Cult liar utilizing current technology.
As is the case in the output of virtually every Rapture Cult cell we’ve examined, we immediately noticed the written statements pouring out of the Salus cup runneth over with inaccuracies. The so called “inner circle” of populations in collusion against Israel, which Salus indicates “share common borders” are actually fighting each other. For instance, Jordanian troops (from one border of Israel) are presently exchanging gunfire with Syrian troops (from another border with Israel) – so this “confederacy” is illusory, even though Salus claims they are united.
The Salus disinformation package tells us the eleven names in Psalm 83 are “the nations that went to war against Israel in 1948,” another ridiculously inaccurate statement. The record shows that Israel warred against sevenstates, with two of those seven providing non-combatant support and materiel. Although accuracy has always been in short supply in Rapture Cult quarters, mathematical precision in recounting such historic occurrences is important. Since Israel went against seven nations, these facts show Israel is
“…the eighth, [which] is of the seven and goeth into perdition” (Revelation 17:11).
The fact that Bill Salus brazenly claims the names mentioned in Psalm 83 warred against Israel “in 1948” is not a mathematical distortion of the facts, it is simply a bald faced lie. Further, as we are going to dissect these false statements in more detail, we’ll start with the relevant Scriptures themselves – with a precise look at what they do say, and what they do not say. Although the text in question is stated by Salus to be Psalm 83:6-8, we’ll include verses preceding and following those 3 verses, in order to be certain of the context:
“They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:
The tabernacles of Edom , and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot.
Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:
Which perished at En-dor: they became as dung for the earth“ (Psalm 83: 3-10).
The first thing we notice is that when Bill Salus (who appears in multiple video clips drawn from several TV interviews) lists the “confederated” nations mentioned in this Psalm, he uses language which does not occur in the text. For example, he carefully equivocates “Arab states” with “terrorist populations” – and since the online graphic positioned next to the video window of Salus speaking includes established nations such as Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and others, this is actually pure political propaganda.
The subtle connecting of names with “terrorism” is commonplace in the globalist mirage created by the American media. We recently saw a similar tactic from the godless Barack Obama confederate Senator Harry Reid (a member of the Mormon cell of Jewish Supremacism), who blithely stated that patriotic American citizens who stood up to BLM (the Bureau of Large Mistakes) thugs “confiscating” cattle from an American rancher in Nevada, were all “terrorists.”
Most political pundits are aware of the timeless tactic of demonizing opponents, in order to soften potential public opposition to their subsequent destruction – something which should be sternly repudiated when emanating out of a supposed “Christian” leader. However, to sustain his theory, Bill Salus needed to characterize these names as “terrorist” because several of them are not actually nations – but extremist militant factions, which are certainly not mentioned in the book of Psalms.
There is also a contrived redundancy in comparing the two lists – the names which Salus tells us are being referenced, versus the names which actually appear in the Word of God.
A good example of this overlap are two names which Bill Salus tells us the Bible predicts are included in the forthcoming collision with Israel:Hezbollah and Lebanon. Those who pay attention to the real world of facts know that Hezbollah is a vicious political party based in Lebanon, but they are not the same thing as the government of Lebanon, as there are factions which rival Hezbollah in that nation. Further, the reader might notice thatLebanon – which was a land in existence during the days of King Davidwhen the Psalms were written – is conspicuously absent from the Scriptural list of powers.
In fact, Lebanon is mentioned in the Scriptures as early as five centuries beforethe time the Psalms were written, so if this is one of the lands which Israel is prophesied to conquer, there is no reason for it to be absent, as the name survives to this very day.
It goes without saying that Hezbollah is not mentioned in the Psalms either, but that didn’t stop Bill Salus from adding both names to his list of those powers which he reckons will attack Israel. If you think this through, it becomes evident the Salus scenario is based on political calculations, as it is certain that any major military confrontation between militant Islamic powerswill include Hezbollah, operating from its base of operations in Lebanon.
Thus, the presence of Lebanon in this scenario, is pure political conjecture, with no Scriptural support found in Psalm 83. And there are other inconsistencies.
For instance, Salus mentions Amalek and Saudi Arabia. Archaeology has demonstrated the Amalekites have been traced directly to the land of the Arabians, so the inclusion of both names is not only redundant, the Psalm also mentions the Ishmaelites, who are named after Ishmael – a historic individual widely reckoned to be the father of all those of Arabic descent.
Furthermore, just like the case of Lebanon, Arabia is mentioned in numerous Old Testament verses, including one in I Kings during the days of Solomon, so the inclusion of Amalek and the Ishmaelites in the Psalms, is quite imprecise when compared to the Salus list, which has Saudi Arabia, whereas Psalm 83fails to mention that nation.
This lack of fidelity to the Scriptures in what could be dubbed the Israelstineversion of events is actually wholesale, for Salus’ list of powers allegedly mentioned in Psalm 83 includes the Palestinians. What was known as the land of Palestine for thousands of years, before the modern state of Israel was planted in the midst of it, is not mentioned in Psalm 83 – despite the claims of the false prophet.
As is the case with the other states not mentioned in Psalm 83, but included by the crafty Rapture Cultist in his false prophecy, the name of Palestine ismentioned in the Scriptures as far back as the book of Exodus. Thus, when Bill Salus tries to add Palestine as a name in defiance of its non-mention in the Psalm itself, it is a complete fabrication emanating out of the heart of this false prophet.
“Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The Lord saith it; albeit I have not spoken?” (Ezekiel 13:7).
Another gross inconsistency is not dissimilar to the previous glaring deficiency in his theory, as Salus mentions Syria as a nation which will clash with Israel; but just like Arabia, Lebanon, and Palestine, Syria is notmentioned in the Psalm either. This is remarkable in view of the fact the Salus list is comprised of nations from the lands the false prophet tells us Israel will justifiably annex, and it’s inconceivable that Israel would notinclude Syrian soil in any full scale military occupation.
In view of the embarrassingly overt efforts to decapitate the present government of Syria through the surrogates involved in the current externally fomented “civil” war, it is self evident a plan exists to destroy the existing Syrian government, and install a government under the hidden control of the Beast power. That compromised government will then ineptly attack Israel, and it’s likely Damascus will be sacrificed in the process (Isaiah 17:1), as Israel will have advance knowledge of the provocation. In any event, it’s clear that Syria has been designated to become subservient to the Jewish state.
Indeed, anyone following the underground news to any appreciable degree knows the rebel factions seeking to unseat the Assad regime in Damascus are hideously evil in their tactics, as they have been linked to numerous atrocities (including the use of chemical weapons), many of which have been perpetrated against innocent Arab Christian civilian populations. Simultaneously, the American led propaganda machine manipulating public opinion has been widely utilized in blaming the atrocities on the Assad regime.
There are even adjacent facts which demonstrate the Psalm 83 “interpretation” is a supernaturally originated subterfuge, designed to make Israel appear to be righteously justified in their seizure of adjacent nation’s territory. For instance, as of this writing, the American Congress is investigating allegations the murder of the American ambassador inBenghazi was related to clandestine efforts to smuggle weapons to the non-Syrian national’s fight in Syria – weapons which were illegally funneled through the state of Libya (Benghazi is in Libya), another nation comprised of Arabs who are not mentioned in Psalm 83.
Just like Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Syria, Libya is a nation of Arabs whichis named in adjacent Scriptures, but this one is conspicuously absent from Bill Salus’ list of Arab powers, which he claims will be defeated by Israel, when they supposedly go on the offensive in the “Psalm 83” war.
There is much more which can be addressed which discredits the Psalm 83 prophetic façade, but it is hoped the reader recognizes this gambit is a carefully contrived attempt to cloak military intrigue with the authority of the Scriptures, as a way to characterize impending Israeli acquisition of territory as part of the LORD’s “holy” plan. Incidentally, it should be said that these facts are not put forth to rehabilitate the image of the Moslem powers opposing the Jewish state, for their actions are also reprehensible – but that’s not the point.
A dogged pursuit of the truth is Spiritually related to everything, and this effort is made to reclaim fidelity to the Scriptural account, and to expose theAntichrist plan which seeks to ensnare the hearts and minds of millions of well meaning believers, concerning the faulty worldview the deadly nation of Israel is the apple of God’s eye (Zechariah 2:8) – when it is not.
In short, the truth of the matter is decidedly different from the fraud being put forth by Bill Salus, and the growing chorus of Jewish Supremacists.
The Bible plainly identifies an Antichrist power which will surface in the end times, and it is allegorically painted as a “Little Horn” – an aggressive, malevolent entity which is described as being “more stout than his fellows” (Daniel 7:20).
The Scriptural imagery tells us this is a significant force, and it rises up among ten horns which are adjacent, and it uproots three of the ten – presumably maintaining control over their territory. The Spirit of the LORD revealed some years ago that this Little Horn is the Antichrist state of contemporary Israel and, as it rises to pre-eminence, the text tells us it will conquer three surrounding powers, also pictured as horns:
“And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise…behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things” (Daniel 7:24, 8).
Knowing that this Scripture is indeed found in the Word of the LORD, we recognize it will come to pass -– accordingly, the false prophets in the “church” are faced with the task of providing a plausible explanation for these events when they occur. This religious power, described under the aegis of “the False Prophet” in Revelation 16:13, seeks to doctrinally vindicate the actions of Israeli territorial acquisition, while masking the connection between the events and the truly relevant Scriptures – even as the “great things” emanate out of the mouth of the Little Horn power.
As all Jewish Supremacist prophecy teachers present the diametrical opposite of this truth, even as they tell us that Israel is the chosen of the LORD (when the apostate nation is actually the primary political vessel of the Spirit of Antichrist), the prophetic pronunciations of Bill Salus are of particular interest.
Revealingly, even though the Psalm 83 list cited is actually comprised ofeleven names, when Salus was asked about his list of powers opposing his faulty version of what some are now calling the “covenant nation” of Israel, he provided the number ten. In a televised interview with Dr. Todd Baker, another messianic Jewish Supremacist broadcasting for the whited sepulcher (read corporation) founded by the late apostate Zola Levitt, Baker queried Salus on the identity and the number of nations actually involved in his version of events, with the following response:
“When Asaph wrote he didn’t have Palestinians, Jordanians, Hezbollah; so we have to extrapolate, who was he trying to identify for us when the prophecy’s gonna find fulfillment? He mentions ten populations, and he mentions first the tents of Edom” (Bill Salus interview with Dr. Todd Baker, archived on the Salus website, emphasis mine).
Salus goes on to tell his interviewer that the great victory over the Arab invaders will allow the beleaguered nation to “become safer,” and to “burgeon out” (which is a polite way of saying expand their territorial dominion), generating a time of great “prosperity.” In reality, the entire sequence of events is associated with the ongoing rise of the Antichristpower – a wicked Spiritual entity that has warred against the truth for a very long time:
“I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them” (Daniel 7:21).
This war is in the heavenlies, and the believers who are drawn into the erroneous Spiritual understandings energized through the efforts of the many false teachers of our time, are the real casualties.
“And [the little horn] waxed great, even to the host of heaven: and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them…and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered” (Daniel 8:10, 12).
In discerning the truth of the Spiritual war which is now raging (Ephesians 6:12), the reader should realize the false prophetic doctrine of Bill Salus is hardly unique, as this Antichrist agenda is massive, and the long prophesiedfalling away described in the New Testament has been underway throughout this generation.
Further, religious figures such as Salus are deceived, as opposed to intentionally participating in some sinister political conspiracy. While this lack of malice won’t help him on judgment day, as long as he is still breathing, like all the other false prophets of our time, the grace of God still allows him the potential to be awakened to the truth of the Gospel – but not for much longer.
The Bible tells us that those who are stumbling around in Spiritual darkness are in dire straits, but those who are leading the flocks in the wrong direction are in even worse trouble – as a result, it’s clear this is as serious as a heart attack.
The Word of God tells us the “natural” man, cannot receive the truth of God, and this is why the body of Babylon, where the voice of the bridegroom is no longer heard, exists.
“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned” (I Corinthians 2:14).
Those who offer prophecies generated through their own darkened hearts are channeling the Spirit of Antichrist, and claiming they are doing the LORD’s will as they proceed. As the prophecies of the end times unfold, and the Little Horn state of Israel destroys significant life in the process, these false prophets, and those who are following the other gospel they preach, will move even deeper into their deceptions.
The time to seek the LORD for the truth is now, for the night cometh, when no man can work – and the fate of every soul will be sealed.
“He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still” (Revelation 22:11).
